1) No new bracket today since I'm late with the seed list. 2) Moving in today are Purdue  and Belmont. Moving out are Texas A&M and Murray State. The Aggies need to make it to at least the SEC semifinals to have a shot. If they knock off Kentucky there, they're in for sure but if all they get are wins over Mississippi State/Auburn and LSU they'll be sweating it out on Selection Sunday. 3) Murray State has almost no shot at an at-large. The recent precedents for teams like them making the tournament are 2012 Iona (RPI 25 places higher than Murray State, with 5 RPI top 100 wins) and 2013 Middle Tennessee State (RPI 35 places higher than Murray State, with an RPI top 50 win). No movement among the top 11 lines today. But quite a bit of movement a the bottom. All teams from Buffalo on down are simply sorted by RPI for now. I did some research and discovered that over the past couple of years the best indicator of seed for teams below the at-large First Four games is Bracket Matrix place, not RPI. This isn't shocking to me, most bracketologists out there get to watch a lot more mid-major and low-major ball than I do. Hell, I haven't even seen some of the teams higher up in my bracket (San Diego State and St. John's come to mind) all year. Once the low and mid-major conference tourneys get settled I will probably lean towards the consensus for mid-majors.  Central Michigan, Harvard and High Point all dropped out of the field today, with Buffalo, Yale and Coastal Carolina taking their spots. Well, it's crunch time now. All the high major teams finish off their regular seasons this  weekend, with some big bubble showdowns (Illinois @ Purdue) and some teams that just need to hold serve (Colorado State). I'll ramp up the posts and bubble analysis as we head towards Selection Sunday. I've done a lot of resume re-evaluation for this bracket. Instead of starting with a formulaic measure of resume strength and working from there, I'm looking at resumes  one by one. Remember that the seed lines are read left to right.
