Bracketology 1/14/19
A busy weekend of college hoops leads to many changes up and down the
seed list. The biggest mover is Mississippi- the Rebels were not even
on my radar screen 3 weeks ago but have rattled off 10 wins in a row to
jump all the way up to a 6 seed. In a matter of 3 games, they've gone
from 0 NET group 1 wins to 3. Also moving up is Villanova, who is off to
a 4-0 start in the Big East and notched a nice Q1 win at Creighton over
the weekend.
Some games that I'll be keeping an eye on this week include Nebraska at Indiana and Wisconsin at Maryland tonight, Virginia Tech at Virginia and LSU at Ole Miss tomorrow, and Iowa State at Texas Tech Wednesday. It'll be interesting to see whether Nebraska can turn it around, whether Virginia Tech can hang with the elite of the ACC, and if Texas Tech can actually challenge Kansas in the Big 12.
