The game of the night was in Oxford, where Tennessee beat Ole Miss on the last possession of a back and forth game. Losing that would've been a bit hit to Tennessee's 1 seed hopes, but now I think a win against Kentucky on Saturday should put them back on the top line. Bubble teams overall had a strong night, with both UCF and Clemson picking up solid wins. Texas is sliding closer to the cut line, now only just above .500 at 15-13. 1:  Virginia ,  Duke ,  Gonzaga, Kentucky 2:  Tennessee,  Michigan State ,  North Carolina , Michigan 3:  Houston,  LSU,  Kansas, Purdue 4:  Texas Tech , Marquette , Virginia Tech, Florida State 5: Nevada , Iowa  State, Maryland, Wisconsin 6:  Buffalo , Mississippi State, Kansas State, Villanova 7: Cincinnati, Iowa, Louisville ,  Baylor 8: Wofford, Washington , Auburn, Ohio State 9:  St. John's ,  Syracuse,  Oklahoma, TCU 10: Mississippi, North Carolina State, UCF, Florida 11:  VCU ,  Alabama, Texas,  Minnesota 12: (Utah State/Temple), (Arizona S

It was a pretty crazy night in college hoops, with a lot of near upsets. Kentucky escaped at home against Arkansas, TCU lost in triple overtime in Morgantown and Wisconsin lost in double overtime in Bloomington. TCU falls closer to the bubble with the loss, and they have a tough stretch to end their season- Texas Tech, Kansas State and at Texas. Two wins would be advisable but 1 will probably do the trick. Temple lost at Memphis and finishes the season with two coin flip games at Connecticut and vs. UCF. Given that we're likely to have a lot of bid stealers, Temple might need to win both.  The biggest news was in Blacksburg, where Duke fell to Virginia Tech. I've moved Virginia up to the #1 overall seed as a result, and Virginia Tech up to the 4 line. Duke is still going to be penalized for any losses without Zion, not as much as they would be if he was playing, but they won't just disappear from the team sheet. 1: Virginia ,  Duke ,  Gonzaga, Kentucky 2:  Tennessee,

Kansas managed to hold off Kansas State at home to keep their Big 12 title hopes alive. That moves the Jayhawks back up to the 3 line, replacing Purdue. Oklahoma is remarkably safe despite now being 5-10 in the Big 12. No team has ever gotten an at-large with a record of 7-11 or worse in conference play, but the Sooners should be fine even if they only win one of their last three. The most interesting bubble game tomorrow night is in Memphis where Temple pays the Tigers a visit- it's a Q1 opportunity for the Owls. 1:  Duke,  Virginia ,  Gonzaga, Kentucky 2:  Tennessee,  Michigan State ,  North Carolina , Michigan 3:  Houston,  LSU,  Marquette ,  Kansas 4:  Purdue,  Texas Tech , Maryland, Florida State 5: Wisconsin,  Nevada , Virginia Tech, Iowa  State 6: Buffalo , Mississippi State, Kansas State, Louisville 7: Cincinnati, Iowa,  Wofford,  Villanova 8:  Washington , Auburn, Baylor, TCU 9: Syracuse,  St. John's , Oklahoma, Mississippi 10: North Carolina State, Ohio State, Florida

Kentucky moves up to the 1 line for the first time all season after Tennessee's loss at LSU. The Vols have a clear path to reclaiming their spot on the top line but it's going to require at least one more win against Kentucky. Also in the SEC, LSU moves up to the 3 line after their big win, replacing Kansas who got smacked by Texas Tech. Wofford is edging closer to lock territory with their big win at Furman, and Oklahoma is looking safer despite their conference record. A lot of bubble teams avoided bad losses over the weekend, although Seton Hall lost badly at St. John's and has fallen out of the field in favor of Alabama as a result. The bubble seems really thin- I list 12 teams outside the field as being on the bubble but I really don't think anyone past Butler has a legitimate shot. 1:  Duke,  Virginia ,  Gonzaga, Kentucky 2:  Tennessee, Michigan State ,  North Carolina , Michigan 3:  Houston, LSU,  Marquette ,  Purdue 4:  Kansas, Texas Tech , Maryland, Florida Sta
