Bracketology 2/4/19
With football season now over, we're officially on the road to Selection Sunday with 6 weeks until the big day. Some teams who are not currently in consideration will vault into the field- Arkansas took a big leap in that direction at LSU on Saturday. Some teams will have a 2018 Oklahoma style collapse- history indicates that 30 or 31 of my current top 32 teams will make the field. And of course, there's all the fun of champ week with its bid-stealers and crazy mid-major finishes.
This past weekend, the biggest result was Indiana winning at Michigan State- the Hoosiers vault up to the 9 seed while that will possibly cost Michigan State a 1 seed in March. Nebraska also took a bad loss to Illinois and falls closer to the bubble, and Florida let a big opportunity slip through their fingers at home against Kentucky.
