It was a pretty crazy night in college hoops, with a lot of near upsets. Kentucky escaped at home against Arkansas, TCU lost in triple overtime in Morgantown and Wisconsin lost in double overtime in Bloomington. TCU falls closer to the bubble with the loss, and they have a tough stretch to end their season- Texas Tech, Kansas State and at Texas. Two wins would be advisable but 1 will probably do the trick. Temple lost at Memphis and finishes the season with two coin flip games at Connecticut and vs. UCF. Given that we're likely to have a lot of bid stealers, Temple might need to win both. 

 The biggest news was in Blacksburg, where Duke fell to Virginia Tech. I've moved Virginia up to the #1 overall seed as a result, and Virginia Tech up to the 4 line. Duke is still going to be penalized for any losses without Zion, not as much as they would be if he was playing, but they won't just disappear from the team sheet.

Well, in the unlikely event that there is an NCAA tournament, here's my projection for it. Stanford really hurt themselves with their loss to Cal, their SOR is almost unprecedentedly bad for an at-large team. Xavier made things really interesting with a loss to DePaul, they're my last team in. Bracketology 3/7/20

The biggest game of the day on Friday was Northern Iowa's loss to Drake in the Arch Madness quarterfinals. I have kept the Panthers as the last team in the field for now, but it's going to be a long wait for them until Selection Sunday. Most of their resume comparisons haven't made the tournament, although their NET remains solid. A massive day awaits today, with nearly every bubble team in action. Bracketology 3/11/20

The last quiet bubble day of conference tournament week is done, with six more bids punched. Robert Morris moves into the field for St. Francis PA after their win in the NEC title game. I was supposed to be heading to Madison Square Garden for the Big East tournament tomorrow and likely up to Cambridge for the Ivy League tournament this weekend.
