The two most notable results since the last update on Thursday were both in the Midwest. Michigan traveled to Iowa City and got handled by the Hawkeyes, dropping the Wolverines off of the 1 line and below Gonzaga to #6 overall. Iowa moved up to a 5 seed as a result and the Big Ten now has 5 teams on the top 5 seed lines (and 8 on the top 9, and 9 on the top 10). The other big result was Buffalo falling on the road to Bowling Green. I've kept Buffalo as the MAC auto-bid as they're still projected to finish with the best record in conference but the Bulls should avoid making a habit out of dropping these road games. The MAC is quite a solid league which means these road traps will only continue, with two more tough games at Akron and Toledo coming up.

Well, in the unlikely event that there is an NCAA tournament, here's my projection for it. Stanford really hurt themselves with their loss to Cal, their SOR is almost unprecedentedly bad for an at-large team. Xavier made things really interesting with a loss to DePaul, they're my last team in. The biggest game of the day on Friday was Northern Iowa's loss to Drake in the Arch Madness quarterfinals. I have kept the Panthers as the last team in the field for now, but it's going to be a long wait for them until Selection Sunday. Most of their resume comparisons haven't made the tournament, although their NET remains solid. A massive day awaits today, with nearly every bubble team in action. The last quiet bubble day of conference tournament week is done, with six more bids punched. Robert Morris moves into the field for St. Francis PA after their win in the NEC title game. I was supposed to be heading to Madison Square Garden for the Big East tournament tomorrow and likely up to Cambridge for the Ivy League tournament this weekend.
