Baseball Picks April 6-12 Week 1

I'll use this post to post my baseball picks for this week.
2012: 11-10 +1.31 units
April: 11-10 +1.31 units
April 12th:
Phillies +105 vs. Marlins +1.05 units
Diamondbacks -130 @ Padres +0.77 units
Angels -145 @ Twins -1 unit
Don't get why the Phillies are home underdogs to the Ozzie-less Marlins. I'll continue to fade the overrated Padres. The Twins are playing AAA ball, as I saw in person at Camden Yards last week. MLB power ratings coming tomorrow.
April 11th:
Mets +105 vs. Nationals -1 unit
Diamondbacks +105 @ Padres -1 unit
Royals +108 @ Athletics -1 unit
Mets have Santana, who is slightly better than Strasburg, and the Mets are the hotter team. Still not understanding why the Padres are so inflated. Royals over the A's for the same reasons I put yesterday.
April 10th:
Cardinals +100 @ Reds +1 unit
Royals +105 @ Athletics +1.05 units
Pirates +210 @ Dodgers -1 unit
Lohse should work his magic for the Cards again. A's have Cespedes and no one else. Even with Kershaw on the mound, +210 is way too high for a respectable Pirates team.
April 9th:
Giants +160 @ Rockies +1.6 units
White Sox +100 @ Indians +1 unit
Orioles +145 vs. Yankees -1 unit
Not getting the Giants line at all, SF is the slightly better team. White Sox have hung with the Rangers and are decent at even money. Yankees are always inflated but the O's just had a nice home sweep with some better than expected pitching.
April 8th:
Cardinals +105 @ Brewers +1.05 units
Dodgers +106 @ Padres -1 unit
Blue Jays +106 @ Indians -1 unit
No time for analysis today.
April 7th:
Braves -110 @ Mets -1 unit
Dodgers +102 @ Padres +1.02 units
Mariners -115 @ Athletics +0.87 units
Braves are far better than the Mets, and RA Dickey certainly doesn't change that. The Dodgers are so much more talented than the Padres, I don't get that line. Calon is decent, but Hernandez deserves better than -115 against an abysmal Oakland squad.
April 6th:
Twins +110 @ Baltimore -1 unit
Rays +110 vs. Yankees +1.1 units
Rockies -125 @ Astros +0.8 units
Twins should be better this year than Baltimore, good value at +110. Yankees are always fluffed up, especially near the beginning of the season. Even if the Rockies are in for a down year, the Astros are far worse.

Note: I don't actually make my picks (it's illegal!) I just keep track of them.
