NFL Picks Week 18
Game 1: Cincinnati @ Houston -4
The Bengals have managed to slip-slide their way into the playoffs, getting in because there was no good 6th option in the AFC. However, they're playing the Texans who have been struggling mightily. Aside from a date with the Colts, the Texans have not beaten a team with a winning record since Veterans Day. Both quarterbacks here are inexperienced in the playoffs, it's Andy Dalton's 2nd time and Matt Schaub's first. I'll go 0 units on the visitor.
Cincinnati +4 (0 units) -$0
Game 2: Minnesota @ Green Bay -9.5
The Vikings are one of the more intriguing teams in the playoffs, considering that they're on a 4 game winning streak which includes 3 wins over teams with winning records. They just beat the Packers, however that game was in Minnesota. Green Bay has now had 2 weeks to plan for stopping Adrian Peterson, and I think they accomplished that. They also have the revenge factor on their side. I'll lay a unit on Green Bay.
Green Bay -9.5 (1 unit) +$100

Game 3: Indianapolis @ Baltimore -7
It's the continuation of the season-long Vegas hates the Colts game! The Colts have a huge amount of momentum, as they've won nine of eleven. Chuck Pagano is emotionally and tactically leading this team, as he has been in the Ravens organization for a number of years. The Ravens, aside from a win over the floundering Giants a few weeks ago, have not defeated a team with a winning record since mid-October. I'm laying 3 units on Indy.
Indianapolis +7 (3 units) -$330

Game 4: Seattle @ Washington +3
I figured I'd throw out an interesting stat about this game. Since these teams (especially Washington) may be underdogs of more than 8 points in the next few rounds, I'd like to point out that these teams have combined to lose 1 game by more than 8 points (Washington @ Pittsburgh). Neither of these teams lost in December, and both teams are on fire. I think the Seahawks are the better team, but the 'Skins shouldn't be getting 3 when the Seahawks are travelling cross-country. A unit on the host.
Washington +3 (1 unit) -$110
NFL Picks Week 18: -$340 (3.4 units)
NFL 2012: +$4247 (42.47 units)
