Bracketology 2/5/17

There's a ton of chaos at the top of the bracket as 6 of the 1, 2 and 3 seeds I had in my last update lost on Saturday. The biggest winner of the mayhem at the top is Louisville, as they make their first appearance of the year on the 1-line thanks to Baylor's loss to Kansas State. The 4th spot on the 1-line was Arizona's for the taking before they got destroyed in Eugene. Oregon is not too far away from the 1-line themselves now. Elsewhere near the top of the bracket, Kentucky and Creighton's holds on a protected seed slipped thanks to losses to Florida and Xavier, who are climbing into the protected seed area themselves. On the bubble, a few teams (Arkansas, Tennessee, Middle Tennessee) took bad losses while others (Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Syracuse) got marquee wins. Wichita State is now in the driver's seat in the MVC after a win over Illinois State and could probably reach an 8/9 game if they win out. Illinois State has at-large hopes as well, but it probably requires winning out until the Arch Madness final.

There's not many games on today due to the Super Bowl, from a bubble perspective I'll be keeping my eye on Indiana to see if they can snag a big win in Madison, and also on Cal as they take on a tricky Colorado team.
