My top pick last week was Kansas State +23.5, who pulled one of the biggest upsets of the season thus far against Oklahoma. Other than that, it was a mediocre week as I went 2-2 and lost slightly. However, another one of my preseason picks cashed as Purdue is now guaranteed to go under 7 wins.

UTEP @ North Texas

North Texas has been one of the more disappointing teams in the country this season- they were expected to contend for the Conference USA title in Mason Fine's senior year, but they've limped to a 3-5 start. UTEP is really bad, but I'm not convinced the Mean Green are good enough to be getting 23 against any FBS team.

UTEP +23 -101 (2 units)

Nebraska @ Purdue

I've been selling Purdue all year, as I took the under on their win total in the preseason and bet against them many times in September. However, I think we've reached the point where people are too pessimistic on the Boilermakers. They've lost some close games against decent teams in Minnesota and Iowa, and I have them as small favorites here.

Purdue +3.5 -106 (1 unit)

UAB @ Tennessee

Tennessee has rebounded from their horrible start that featured losses to Georgia State and BYU and now has their eyes set on a bowl. However, UAB is sneaky good once again and has lost only once all year. I think that this number should definitely be in the single digits, so I see a bit of edge with the Blazers.

UAB +13.5 -108 (1 unit)
